I believe that while we are all truly unique and individual we can sometimes go through periods in our lives that can cause us to have problems, like many others. Asking for help, i.e. engaging in therapy can give us insight and allow us to make the changes we need to in order to live a more functional life. Working through difficult feelings can be life changing. My main training is in Humanistic Therapy, underpinned by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Psychodynamic counselling.
I work with couples, families, individuals and groups.
Having worked in the private sector, the voluntary sector and prison service over many years, I have gained extensive experience in the field of counselling and therapy. I have worked as an addictions therapist at Cygnet Hospital, Godden Green.
